Authors for Nature
Join a community of young adult authors who are working to make children's books that help the environment. Learn about nature. Create art to raise awareness. Publish your book.
What is our mission?
We help young adults from the ages of 13-25 become environmental activists and published authors. Through writing your book, you learn about and advocate for an animal by partnering with a nonprofit organization.
Our video course gives guidance and tips on how write a book and get it published on bookstores like Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Kelsey Sweetland!
I am 17, an environmental activist, runner, hiker, artist, plant lover, and four-time published author. I started writing children's books when I was 12 because I loved nature and animals and wanted to do something to help raise awareness about the pressing issues that they face.
I learned that my books could inspire kids and parents to love animals, and I want to give this same ability to others.
With Authors for Nature, I hope to empower young adults to become the next generation of environmental advocates and published authors who can use writing and art as tools for environmental change.
